Awards are all about showcasing and recognizing excellence in what we provide to the public through our businesses and the Australian Small Business Champion Awards do just that – provide public recognition to outstanding small businesses Australia wide.
Chris and I were thrilled to have Sea Horse Diamond Beach named as a Finalist (in a hotly contested field of 14 other excellent small businesses) in the Australian Small Business Champions – Tourism category recently.
It was an incredibly glamorous affair held at the Star Casino in Darling Harbour, Sydney – very flash. Think long red carpet entrance and formal photos, me in high heels and a dress and Chris in a tux! Heck there was even singing and dancing entertainment on stage during the event!
It was the type of very fancy event which we certainly don’t often have cause to attend here in our coastal NSW paradise :). (And yes I admit it, in all honesty – one of the perks for me of entering awards and attending the presentation nights is getting an opportunity to dress up to the nines) 🙂
And whilst we didn’t come home with the trophy this time, being recognized as a Finalist is a big deal and an achievement of which we’re very proud.
